Study smarter,
not harder
Quizzes, AI tutoring, flashcards, notes, and a focus timer. That's it.
Question 3 of 10 · Biology
Which organelle produces most of the cell’s ATP?
Productivity at its best
We built Clamly because every study app we tried did too much, badly. So we built one that does less, properly.
Flashcards
SM-2 spaced repetition. Cards come back at the right interval so what you learn actually sticks.
Focus Timer
Pomodoro that follows you across pages. Switch from quizzes to notes to chat without losing your timer.
Notes
Markdown notes with a full-screen editor, pin, autosave, export. Closer to a writing app than a study tool.
Todos
Tasks with priorities, due dates, drag-and-drop. The same one I use myself.
Exams
A calendar for upcoming exams that syncs both ways with Google Calendar.
Why Clamly?
Built by students, for students
I made Clamly because I needed it myself. Every feature exists because I actually wanted it while studying.
AI built for studying
Upload a PDF and Clamly AI builds you a quiz from it. Or chat with it like you would with a friend who actually paid attention in class.
Progress you can see
Streaks, scores, achievements, and stats stay visible on every page, so you don’t have to remember whether you studied yesterday.
Study together
Create study groups, share quizzes with friends, and stay motivated. Invite by code, manage roles, and track group activity.
Common questions
What is Clamly?
A study app that keeps track of what you get wrong. You make quizzes and flashcards from your own notes, or let the AI write them from a PDF, and Clamly brings the questions you missed back to you later, when you are about to forget them. Notes, a focus timer, your exam dates and study groups live in the same place.
Is Clamly free?
Yes, and the free version is not a demo. Quizzes, flashcards, notes, the timer, groups and exam tracking are all included, with AI usage limited per session. Starter is €4.99 a month and Pro is €9.99 if you want more AI sessions and the extras. No card is needed to sign up.
What can I upload to Clamly AI?
PDFs, Word documents, plain text, or notes you paste straight in. Clamly reads them and writes quiz questions with hints and explanations, so the questions are about your course rather than about the subject in general.
What is Clamly Chat?
Somewhere to ask why you got something wrong. It has four ways of answering: Adaptive, Tutor, Buddy and Professor, which mostly changes how much it explains and how formal it sounds. When the conversation has taught you something, it can turn that into a quiz.
Can I study with friends?
Yes. Make a group, send people an invite code, and share quizzes inside it. Whoever made the group can manage members and roles. Nobody sees your scores unless you share them.
Does the Pomodoro timer follow me across pages?
Yes. It keeps running while you move around the app, with a small timer pinned in the corner, so going from a quiz to your notes does not cost you the session.
What are flashcards?
Cards that come back on a schedule instead of when you happen to think of them. Clamly uses spaced repetition (the SM-2 algorithm), so a card you find easy leaves you alone for weeks and one you keep missing returns in a couple of days. You can see what is due and how much you are retaining.
